  Southern Funeral Care Is an exceptionaly caring and professionaly run establishment, They pay close attention to detail. The home is very well laid out . My father's viewing had a very large crowd and the facility was able to
  handle it very well. The owner Mark Vargo made sure that our family was
  comfortable and informed with every aspect of the viewing as well as funeral
  Mass and graveside service. You will not go wrong choosing this funeral home.

  Southern Funeral care is the only place my family will turn to in our time of need. During the entire process everyone there was so helpful and nice, they seemed like family. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring this service. D.Wanamaker

  Choosing a funeral home and deciding on funeral services come at the most difficult time of your life. But the compassion, care, and personal attention and service we received from Southern Care staff was wonderful. Mark Vargo and his team literally took us by the hand and walked us through each and every step. The visitation room is beautifully appointed and was very comfortable for receiving family and guests. I highly recommend them.

  Zero stars! My cousins funeral was yesterday and I was sitting in the back. i was grieving for my aunt and uncle when the funeral service ended. Some big rude ape of a man abruptly walks to the back gives some direction and we were supposed to move it really quick. Well a bunch of grieving people didn't move fast enough for this rude employee so he starts barking orders to move faster. Very rude an inconsiderate. I wanted to get in his face because he was barking at me, my family, and friends of the family. They just wanted us out of there as fast as possible. On top of that, some people were standing outside when another man shuffled us out of the way for something. he wasn't ,very polite either. This is a very rude bunch and they had no consideration for our family. If it was a different situation, i would have spoken up and corrected these rude people.

  Years ago when my step father passed Mr. Vargo helped to put the ceremony together. He was there for my mom and I through this rough time in life and will always be the one to oversee this in the future also.
